HuskyBIM for Tactplan

Claude plans with you in Tactplan Schedule: it reads and builds your location-based schedule, lets Tactplan's own engine compute the dates, and connects the schedule to your models, estimates and site.

• Works with: Tactplan Schedule (schedule.tactplan.com) with your own Tactplan account, on Windows with Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
• AI apps: Claude Desktop, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code and Codex.
• Price: free with a HuskyBIM account. Tactplan itself needs your own Tactplan subscription or trial.

What it can do

• Read your schedules — projects, locations, trades, tasks, crews, quantities, calendars, holidays, versions and progress, explained in plain language.
• Build and change schedules — locations, tasks and links from a table, quantities with hours per unit, crews and calendars per trade, holidays, progress, copy and merge of schedules.
• Tactplan's own numbers — dates, durations, critical path, costs, cash flow and resource load come from Tactplan's engine itself, run in your own Edge or Chrome in the background — not from an estimate of ours.
• Location-based planning — flowline, takt, staffing (how many crews per trade, how many people per crew), what happens when a crew is sick or a delivery is late, what-if comparisons, compare two versions, a look-ahead for the coming weeks.
• From the model — quantities per storey from Revit, or from an IFC with base quantities (tested with Archicad), become task durations.
• To the model — a 4D export of the schedule (task, location, dates, progress) for Navisworks TimeLiner and Revit, and which trades work in the same room at the same time.
• Estimates and site — money, hours and CO2 from Sigma Estimates; progress from Dalux; MS Project XML files in and out; weather risk from DMI for Danish sites.
• Organisation admin — members, roles, seats and invitations, when you ask for them.

Install

Download the Windows installer (or the Claude Desktop extension) from your account page and run it. Then ask Claude to sign you in to Tactplan: Tactplan mails you a code, and you give Claude the code. The sign-in stays on your computer.

Windows shows a warning the first time you run the installer

HuskyBIM is signed by HuskyBIM itself, not by a certificate authority, so Windows does not know the publisher yet.

In Edge or Chrome: if the download bar says the file "isn't commonly downloaded", choose Keep.

When you run the installer, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is the file you just downloaded from huskybim.com, and nothing else runs.

Good to know (BETA)

• Each computer signs in to Tactplan on its own; don't copy the sign-in to another computer.
• Windows only for now.
• Tactplan is a trademark of its owner. HuskyBIM is independent and not affiliated with Tactplan.
