New
Coordination audit beyond clash counting. Zero clashes does not mean zero risk. One check lists the coordination problems a clash report never shows: open pipe and duct connectors, runs that belong to no system, ducts and pipes passing through wall, floor, roof or beam material with no opening cut (real solid intersection, hosts from the model and from linked models), equipment with no service space in front, doors that cannot swing, rooms that are unplaced or not enclosed, long horizontal runs with no support nearby. Every check says what it measured and what it was judged against; a check that could not finish is reported as such, never as a clean zero. Verdict and CSV included.
IDS on the live model. Validate the open model against a buildingSMART IDS file without exporting IFC: entity, attribute, property, classification and material facets are mapped onto Revit categories, IFC export overrides, parameters (with the usual Pset synonyms such as FireRating → Fire Rating), classification codes and materials, and every failing element says why.
partOf is declared unsupported rather than silently passed. A second tool writes an IDS draft from what the model actually contains — one specification per category with the parameters present, their data types and coverage — so a delivery specification never starts from a blank schema.Build from a plan. Describe levels, walls, doors, windows, floors, rooms and family instances in one call and Revit builds them in one transaction — one Ctrl+Z removes everything. Dry-run first: every level, type and host is resolved and reported before anything is created. Read a floor-plan image, a facade photo or a sketch in the chat, then let this place the elements.
Cost estimate from your own rates. Measured quantities (m², m³, m, pieces) multiplied by a rate table you provide inline or as CSV/Excel. Nothing is priced that has no rate: unpriced groups come back with their quantities so you can add one. Totals by category, grand total, CSV — and the priced lines can go straight into HuskyBIM for Sigma.
Rule skills. Turn a requirement (“all exterior doors need Fire Rating EI30”) into a saved, deterministic check the add-in runs without any AI: category, filters, conditions, severity and source. Run one, several or all rules and get pass/fail per element with the actual value, a verdict and a CSV. Lengths in mm, areas in m², volumes in m³.
Terrain. Ask for the terrain elevation at any points (toposolids and legacy topography, view-independent) and place a building massing on the terrain: the footprint is sampled, the base elevation chosen (average, lowest, highest or given) and one mass per storey is created above and below ground in one transaction.
Dynamo graphs written from the chat. Read any Dynamo graph (nodes, code, inputs, connections, packages), create a new graph from code blocks, Python nodes, inputs, watch nodes, Revit category nodes and any zero-touch node, and edit an existing one (code, input values, names, nodes, connections). Graphs are written for the Dynamo version of the running Revit and opened with the existing Dynamo tool.
MEP reports on Revit's own calculations. Per-system pressure-loss tables with the index route and the pressure the fan or pump must deliver; required versus actual airflow per space (BR18 §443 or EN 16798-1, every rate adjustable and its source declared); a per-space summary of airflows, loads and devices; provisions for builderswork openings computed from the real intersections of ducts and pipes with walls, floors and beams (also in linked models), sized with offset and rounding, flagged when the host is fire-rated — placed as markers for the structural engineer or cut as real openings; and a free-height check per room under the lowest duct or pipe.
Share skills. Export a saved skill as a JSON file and import it on another machine (with a new name if needed).

New
Shafts and sketches. List every shaft opening with its levels and footprint — and spot the classic broken sketch (two identical rectangles drawn on top of each other, Revit's “Highlighted lines overlap”). Create shafts from a rectangle or polygon between two levels, read the sketch behind any sketch-based element (shaft, floor, ceiling, roof, filled region) with an overlap analysis that names the duplicate lines, and clean it up through Revit's own sketch editor without redrawing — dry-run first, lines and warnings counted before and after. Sketch profiles can also be replaced outright from the API; if Revit rejects the result the model is left unchanged.
Duplicate instances. Find elements sitting exactly on top of an identical copy (Revit's own warning plus a geometric check) and remove the extra copies in one transaction.
Paint the face you mean. Face painting now takes a face index, a list of indices or a side (top, bottom, north, south, east, west, largest, all), and a new tool lists an element's faces with side, area and normal so you can choose. Every painted face is checked afterwards.
Materials with colour. Create a material with a colour (
[r,g,b], #RRGGBB or a name like red), transparency, shininess and smoothness — and read it back. DirectShapes built from vertices or a box can carry a material or colour, a name, comments and a mark.Survey point and shared coordinates. Read the survey point and project base point (internal position, shared position, clipped state), and run Revit's “Specify Coordinates at Point” from the API at the base point, the survey point, the internal origin, any point or any element — measured before and after, with dry-run.
Fixed
Setting the project base point used to drag the base-point element across the model — hitting Revit's 16 km limit and a dialog that blocked everything. It now relocates the shared coordinate system so the base point reads the values you give, and nothing moves relative to the internal origin.
Face painting ignored the face you asked for and always painted the first face; material creation ignored the colour. Both now do what the call says and verify it.
Setting a level's Elevation reported success and changed nothing. It now persists — and every parameter write reads the value back from the model and tells you whether it really landed.
Area and volume for DirectShapes, in-place families and imports came back as zero. They are now computed from the solid geometry when Revit has no parameters for them, and the reply says which source was used.
Category names with spaces (“Shaft Openings”, “Generic Models”) are accepted everywhere a category is asked for, and an unknown name fails clearly instead of silently falling back.
Openings in floors, ceilings and roofs: the tool promised them and then refused everything but walls. It now cuts them.
Dialogs that never pass through Revit's dialog event (for example the coordinate warnings) were invisible to the pending-dialog check. When Revit's main window is blocked, the open dialogs are now listed with their buttons, and a button can be clicked by its caption.

New
Real Model Text from the chat. Revit's own API cannot create Model Text in a project — HuskyBIM now authors it in a family behind the scenes and places it, so you get a genuine Model Text element with your font, size and depth. List every 3D text in the model, and edit native Model Text directly; text that is baked in (family-based or extruded 3D text) says so honestly and is replaced in one step.
Find any text. One search covers all four text kinds — 2D text notes, Model Text and both kinds of 3D text — and tells you which kind each hit is.
Fixed
Element search: the value filter was silently ignored (a field-name mismatch), and an unrecognised category made the search quietly cover the whole model. The value filter now works, category names with spaces are accepted, and an unknown category returns a clear error instead of noise.
Plugin v1.50
Revit
August 2026
New
Colour a whole category in one call. Set the Object Styles material for any category (with a named material or a plain colour) — every element of that category gets it on all faces, and the colour follows into IFC export.
Coloured 3D shapes. Extruded DirectShapes can now be created with a material or a plain colour baked in — all faces, straight into IFC — plus a name, comments, mark and pinning in the same call.
Fixed
Important: on Revit 2027, setting the site elevation (v1.49) could silently reset the model's shared coordinates — project position, kote and True North all read zero afterwards. The elevation is now stored without touching shared coordinates, and the reply verifies it with a measured before/after check. If a model was hit: the numbers can be restored from a linked model or re-entered; the geometry itself was never moved.
Plugin v1.49
Revit
August 2026
New
Set the project's geographic location from the chat. Give an address or coordinates and the model's location (Manage > Location) is set: latitude, longitude and time zone — the basis for sun studies, shadows, energy analysis and the IFC site coordinates. Shared coordinates, base points and True North are never touched, and the reply reads the result back so you see exactly what was set.
On Revit 2027 the site elevation can be set too — it is stored as the model's geolocation reference point, so the model becomes properly geolocated. Older Revit versions do not offer a way to write elevation; the reply says so honestly instead of pretending.
Plugin v1.48
Revit
August 2026
New
3D text in a real font. Ask for text in the model and you get actual solid letters — Arial Bold by default, or any installed font — standing in every 3D view and exported as geometry to IFC. Revit itself cannot create Model Text through its API; this closes that gap. You control size, thickness, position, rotation and level, anchor it left/centre/right, and give it a material or a plain colour. Great for signage, coordination markers and print-ready labels.
Improved
On start-up the connector now also tells huskybim.com which application launched it (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code). This helps support tell a real problem from a client that keeps restarting the connector.
Plugin v1.47
Revit
August 2026
New
Acquire Coordinates now does what Revit's own command does: your model takes over the linked model's shared coordinates and True North, and the reply shows the measured project position, project base point and survey point before and after. Until now the tool only shifted the base point by the link's placement — with a link placed origin-to-origin it changed nothing while reporting success.
Publish Coordinates now works: your model's shared origin and True North are written into the linked Revit model's site (pick the site, or use its active one). The linked file is saved the next time you save or close, as in Revit.
Get Link Coordinates: read a linked model's sites, project position, base and survey points and location straight through the link — no need to open it — side by side with your own model's, so you can see what Acquire or Publish will change before you do it.
Fixed
Acquire Coordinates tells you when Revit refuses (the coordinates are already identical, the link is placed more than once, or there is nothing to acquire) instead of claiming success.
Opening a file that is currently loaded as a link in an open model now says which model links it and what to do, instead of failing with an unreadable error.
Parameter listings: values such as “Shared Site” no longer show as “0”, and parameters that point at another element show that element's name.
Plugin v1.46
Revit
August 2026
New
13 new tools (646 → 659) for Revit 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027, every one verified with live calls in each Revit version.
Excel round-trip. Export doors, rooms, any category or a schedule to a real .xlsx (or CSV) with the element IDs as keys and colour-coded headers (green = editable instance value, yellow = type value, red = read-only). Edit it in Excel and import it back: Claude shows you exactly what would change first, then writes everything in one step — one Ctrl+Z undoes it all. Lengths are in millimetres, areas in m².
Bulk parameter edits. Set one parameter on hundreds of elements by category, selection or a filter — a fixed value, a find/replace, a prefix or a suffix — with a preview before anything is written.
Project standards to Excel. Project information, object styles, line styles, families and types with instance counts, levels, worksets, project parameters, line patterns and materials in one workbook. The project-parameter sheet can be imported into another project to recreate the parameters.
Batch export. Sheets and views to PDF, DWG, DXF, DGN, DWF, IFC and images in one go, with your own file-name and folder rules (sheet number, name, revision, date, any sheet parameter), a combined PDF option and saved export profiles. A dry run lists the files before anything is written.
Sheets and viewports. Create many sheets from a list or a spreadsheet with views placed like a template sheet, and copy the viewport layout of one sheet onto others.
Room views. Interior elevations, sections and plan callouts for every room or space, cropped to the room, named by your own pattern.
Housekeeping. Renumber marks along a line or a direction, rename families and types by rules, move elements to worksets by category or parameter, and fit a section box around selected elements.
Good to know
Elements inside model groups are listed but left alone by the import and bulk tools — Revit only allows those edits in group edit mode.
Changing a type value on one row of a sheet does not silently change the type for every element: all rows of that type have to agree, otherwise the change is reported and skipped.
The Revit 2026 installer is now named HuskyBIM for Revit 2026, like the other versions. Installing it over v1.45 works as before.
Archicad v1.5.49
Archicad
August 2026
New
Terrain elevation at any point. Ask for the height of the terrain mesh at a list of points and get the surface elevation back in project metres. Archicad's own 3D surface of the mesh is used when it exists (ridges honoured); before the 3D window has been opened the mesh outline and level points are triangulated instead. Points outside every mesh say so.
Massing placed on the terrain. Give a footprint and the number of storeys above and below ground: the terrain is sampled under the footprint, the base level chosen (average, lowest, highest or a value you give) and one slab per storey is created on the right story in a single undo step. Dry-run first shows the sampled heights and the storey table without creating anything.
Mesh details. Read a terrain mesh: level, skirt, story, outline with heights, level (ridge) points and the 3D bounding box.
Archicad v1.5.48
Archicad
August 2026
New
Mesh (terrain) editing: change level, skirt, level lines and outline of existing meshes. Note: the mesh's layer must be visible — Archicad refuses edits on hidden layers.
Auto-dimensioning inside sections: place associative dimensions on wall composite faces, slab skins, beam/column endpoints or door/window openings directly in a section or elevation view.
Fixed
The 37 tools added in v1.5.47 (groups, keynotes, MEP routes, dimensions and more) ignored their list inputs when called from Claude Desktop — the request arrived empty and the tool did nothing. They now receive the full input and work as intended. Already-installed copies pick the fix up automatically at next start.
Archicad v1.5.47
Archicad
August 2026
New
37 new tools (691 → 728), each verified with a live call against Archicad 29.
Keynotes: read the full keynote tree, create/edit/delete folders and items, get autotext tokens, and place keynote-linked labels that update when the keynote changes.
MEP write: create duct/pipe/cable-carrier routes through 3D points, place terminals and fittings, change cross-sections, and connect elements — connections are made for real, not just requested.
Room images: Claude can now see a zone as a rendered plan image.
Associative dimensions that follow the model, wall-thickness auto-dimensioning, and interior elevation viewpoints.
IFC import: open or merge an IFC file into the running project (export already existed).
Element groups (create, look up, suspend mode), typed element relations, section-database contents, view-map creation from project-map items, 2D view transforms and rotation, calculation units, layout custom schemes, on-screen alerts and Graphisoft ID lookup.

Plugin v1.41
Revit
August 2026
New
Skills — save a workflow you have just finished and run it again by name, on any model. Skills run from the chat, or from a Skills button on the HuskyBIM ribbon in Revit.
Pin the ones you use often as their own ribbon buttons, with your own label and either a colour or your own icon.
Run anything as a dry run first: the read-only steps execute against your real model, and everything that would change it is only listed, so you see exactly what would happen before it happens.
Everything a skill changes is now applied in a single operation, so one Ctrl+Z undoes the whole run — even when it touched hundreds of elements. A skill can also be told to roll itself back completely if any step fails.
Live progress while a skill runs, with a Stop button, followed by a readable report of every step — and a copy button for pasting it into a review.
A record of what actually changed in the model, including edits you made by hand, so a check can still be traced back weeks later.
Skills can act on your current selection, apply steps only to elements that match a condition, and count or sum results — so a QA skill can end with a one-line summary instead of a wall of output.
The installer is now code-signed, so Windows and Revit no longer warn about an unverified publisher.
Archicad v1.5.43
Archicad
August 2026
New
Added per-element building material setter for basic walls.
Improved
Wall create and modify now report the wall's actual height and thickness back, with the reason when a request could not be applied (composite and profile structures define their own dimensions; top-linked walls follow their story). When a specific height is requested, the top-link is removed so the height actually applies.
Element details now name the IDs that were not found instead of silently skipping them.
The model summary says so when its counts reflect a window other than the floor plan.
Common export and image errors are explained in plain language (wrong window in front, output path too long) instead of raw error codes.
Fixed
The installer now updates the Add-On everywhere Archicad may load it from — previously an update could silently leave Archicad running an old version.
Archicad v1.5.42
Archicad
August 2026
New
MEP can now be worked with properly: ducts, pipes and cable trays listed by domain and kind, with dimensions, systems and what each run connects to. Quantities come out by size, system, story and renovation status — metres for the straight runs and a count for the fittings, because fittings are ordered by the piece rather than by the metre.
Fall on drainage in per mille and as a 1:x ratio, with a limit you can set to find the runs that fall too little. A stack is reported as vertical rather than as an enormous gradient, and a pressurised system comes out level because it is.
Levels at both ends of every run: the invert measured inside the pipe and the top outside it, as levels are normally quoted. Rectangular ducts and trays give outside faces instead, because Archicad holds no wall thickness for them. Levels are model levels unless you state what they are measured from — a project altitude or a surveyed benchmark.
Fall and levels can be written onto the floor plan in your own wording, with a dry run that shows exactly what would be placed before anything is. It writes on the story in front of you and refuses to write onto a locked layer.
Route length: how far it is from one point to another along connected runs. This is the route, not a cable length — Archicad models the tray and not the cables in it, so drops, terminations and slack are yours to add.
The connector now finds Archicad when it has moved to another port. Archicad gives its port to the first instance that asks, so a second one — or a first still shutting down as the next starts — ends up elsewhere, and the connector used to report that Archicad was not answering while it sat plainly open.
Archicad v1.5.41
Archicad
August 2026
Fixed
MEP elements can now be listed and identified. Asking for ducts, pipes or all MEP elements previously returned an error, and an MEP element's type came back as "Unknown" — in a services model that hid the majority of the model.
Element counts now state which window they were read from. Archicad opens a project on a worksheet, and a count taken there describes that window rather than the model — so a full building could report zero walls with nothing to indicate why.
Sigma Estimates v1.2.2
Sigma
August 2026
Fixed
Three tools asked for input under names the bridge never read, so they failed on every call: bulk note append, copy field between items, and find items by regular expression. All three now work as documented.
SketchUp v1.8 · Navisworks v1.3.4 / 2027 v1.0.3 · Tekla v1.0.3
Connectors
August 2026
Fixed
Navisworks: the leaf-item path and category filters now actually filter, and the item limit is honoured instead of being ignored.
Tekla: four tools were published twice with conflicting inputs; only the working definition remains.
SketchUp: opening a model over unsaved work now documents the force option, and Dynamic Component tools no longer claim to accept several components per call.
Improved
Tool inputs across these connectors now describe what the plugin genuinely supports - parameters that were silently ignored have been removed or documented.
Archicad v1.5.40
Archicad
August 2026
Fixed

Implemented more reliable and detailed change reports, accurately describing model modifications and their impact.
Refined handling of Favourites, named properties on attributes, and various default settings for greater stability.
Fixed
Withdrew three calls that close Archicad 29 outright: switching the active 3D style, redrawing a single element, and the stair solver. Each was measured and reproduced on its own; the crashes are in Archicad, not in the connector, so the tools are gone rather than fixed - ac_3d_styles and ac_apply_3d_style say what to use instead.
Fixed tools that failed quietly or reported work they had not done: array parameters never reached Archicad at all (14 tools), eleven tools were never advertised to any client, ac_layers hid a third of the project's layers and never said which were locked, and ac_set_north_direction and ac_set_element_layer_batch each refused the very parameters they asked for.
Fixed the progress window not updating visually during tool calls and resolved problems with database deletion.
