HuskyBIM for Revit

HuskyBIM for Revit connects Claude Desktop directly to Autodesk Revit 2026 through 488 AI tools covering elements, families, views, sheets, parameters, schedules, documentation and more. Control your model in plain language — no scripting required.

Installation

1

Download the installer

Sign in to your account page and download HuskyBIM_for_Revit_v1.0.20.exe from the Downloads section. Make sure no other version of HuskyBIM for Revit is installed before running the installer.

2

Run the installer

Right-click the .exe and choose Run as administrator. The installer copies the add-in files to the correct Revit Add-Ons directory and registers the Claude Desktop extension automatically.

3

Enter your subscription email

When prompted, enter the email address you used to subscribe. The installer validates your subscription, configures the Revit add-in and registers the Claude Desktop extension automatically.

4

Restart Claude Desktop and Revit

Start Revit with a project open, then open Claude Desktop. HuskyBIM connects automatically. You should see HuskyBIM tools available in Claude.

Always keep a project open in Revit when working with HuskyBIM. Most tools operate on the active document. Tools that read model data will fail if no project is loaded.

Troubleshooting

HuskyBIM tools not visible in Claude Desktop

Make sure Claude Desktop was restarted after installation. Check that the extension is enabled in Claude Desktop settings under Extensions. If the extension is missing or shows an error, re-run the installer.

Commands return "No active Revit document"

Open a Revit project first. HuskyBIM requires an active, open document to operate on most commands.

Installer fails

Ensure you are running as administrator and that Revit is not open during installation. Check that Revit 2026 is installed. Contact support if the issue persists.
