Everything you need to know about the HuskyBIM platform, subscription, setup and supported software. If you don't find what you're looking for, reach out.
The platform
-
HuskyBIM is the AI platform for AEC software. It connects Anthropic's Claude Desktop to the software used across architecture, engineering and construction workflows — including Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, Archicad, Sigma Estimates and more. Through a growing ecosystem of connectors and MCP servers, AEC teams can query data, automate tasks and run workflows in plain language, without scripting or custom integrations.
-
The current platform includes connectors for:
HuskyBIM for Revit — Autodesk Revit 2026 (488 API operations)
HuskyBIM for Navisworks — Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2026 (78 operations)
HuskyBIM for Microsoft Project — full schedule read and write access
HuskyBIM for Archicad — Graphisoft Archicad 29 (217 operations)
HuskyBIM for Sigma Estimates — Sigma Estimates (103 operations)
HuskyMCP — a standalone MCP server for knowledge-grounded AEC queries
Additional connectors for structural analysis, energy simulation and other AEC workflows are in development. All future additions are included in the subscription. -
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol — an open standard developed by Anthropic that defines how AI assistants like Claude can connect to external tools, data sources and software environments.
HuskyBIM is built on MCP. This means Claude Desktop can call HuskyBIM tools directly inside a conversation — reading model data, running operations and returning results — all without leaving the chat interface. MCP is what makes the integration feel native rather than bolted on. -
No. HuskyBIM is designed to be used entirely in plain language through Claude Desktop. You describe what you want — "find all walls without a fire rating", "summarise overdue tasks" — and HuskyBIM handles the underlying API calls. No scripting, no macros, no Dynamo graphs required.
-
Yes. Claude Desktop is the desktop application for Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. It supports MCP extensions, which is how HuskyBIM connects to your AEC software. Claude Desktop is a separate product from Anthropic and requires its own subscription. HuskyBIM works as an extension on top of Claude Desktop.
You can download Claude Desktop from claude.ai/download.
Subscription
-
One subscription gives you access to the full HuskyBIM platform — all current connectors and MCP servers, plus every new product added to the platform going forward. There is no separate charge for additional products.
Current products included: HuskyBIM for Revit, HuskyBIM for Navisworks, HuskyBIM for Microsoft Project, HuskyBIM for Archicad, HuskyBIM for Sigma Estimates, HuskyMCP. -
HuskyBIM is available on two plans:
Monthly — €16 per month, billed monthly
Annual — €149 per year, billed annually (equivalent to €12/month)
Both plans include full access to the entire HuskyBIM platform. See the pricing page for details. -
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.
-
Yes. As HuskyBIM adds new connectors and MCP servers to the platform, they become available to all active subscribers at no additional cost. This includes connectors for structural analysis, energy simulation and other AEC workflow tools currently in development.
产品
-
HuskyBIM for Revit currently supports Autodesk Revit 2026. Support for additional Revit versions may be added in future releases. Check the documentation for the latest compatibility information.
-
HuskyBIM for Archicad currently supports Graphisoft Archicad 29.
-
HuskyMCP is a standalone MCP server that gives Claude Desktop access to a curated AEC knowledge base — including building standards, EPD databases, technical references and more. Unlike the software connectors, HuskyMCP does not require any AEC software to be installed. It can be used independently or alongside the other HuskyBIM products.
HuskyMCP is available at mcp.huskybim.com and is downloadable as a standalone tool from your account. -
No. Install only the connectors for the software you use. Each HuskyBIM product is a separate download — you are not required to install all of them. Your subscription covers the full platform, but you only run what you need.
Setup & requirements
-
To use HuskyBIM you need:
1. A Claude Desktop subscription (from Anthropic)
2. A HuskyBIM subscription
3. The AEC software you want to connect to (Revit, Microsoft Project, Archicad)
Claude Desktop must be installed and running on your machine alongside your AEC software. Full setup instructions are in the documentation. -
HuskyBIM for Revit and HuskyBIM for Microsoft Project require Windows, as Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Project are Windows applications.
HuskyMCP is platform-independent and can run on Windows or macOS. -
For most users, setup takes under 10 minutes. The process involves downloading and running the installer, generating your extension token from the account page, and adding it to Claude Desktop. Step-by-step instructions are in the setup guide.
-
Log in to your account page and use the Generate token button in the Extension Token section. Your token is used to authenticate HuskyBIM with Claude Desktop. You can regenerate a new token at any time if needed.
隐私 & data
-
No. HuskyBIM connectors run entirely on your local machine. Model data, project files and schedule data are never uploaded to HuskyBIM's servers. The connector communicates locally between Claude Desktop and your AEC software — nothing leaves your machine through HuskyBIM.
Note that Claude Desktop itself sends your conversation to Anthropic's servers as part of its AI processing. Refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for details on how conversation data is handled. -
HuskyBIM collects the information needed to manage your subscription: your email address, billing details (handled by Stripe) and machine identifiers used to enforce the licence limit. We do not collect or store your BIM model data, project files or conversation content. See our privacy policy for full details.
Licensing
-
Each subscription is for one user and allows activation on up to two machines simultaneously. This covers a typical work setup — for example, a workstation and a laptop.
You can release a machine from your account page and activate on a different device at any time. -
No. Each subscription is a personal licence for one named user. Sharing a subscription between multiple users is not permitted. If your team needs multi-user access, please contact us about enterprise options.
-
Log in to your account page, find the machine in the Activated machines list, and click Release. The slot becomes available immediately and you can activate on a new machine.
Education & enterprise
-
Yes. Students at eligible institutions can apply for free access to HuskyBIM using their institutional email address. Eligibility is verified automatically based on the email domain. Apply on the education access page.
