Prérequis

Revit 2026

Le module cible l'API Revit 2026 sur Windows 10 ou 11.

Claude Desktop

Free from claude.ai/download. Claude Pro ($20/mo) recommended for daily use.

Node.js

Installé automatiquement par l'installateur HuskyBIM si absent.

Installer

  1. Exécuter l'installateurDouble-click HuskyBIM_for_Revit_v1.0.20.exe. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway. Admin rights required.
  2. Saisir votre e-mail d'abonnementL'installateur demande l'e-mail utilisé lors de l'abonnement. Il valide votre abonnement et configure tout automatiquement — le module Revit et l'extension Claude Desktop sont configurés en une seule étape.
  3. Redémarrer Revit et Claude DesktopRevit doit redémarrer pour charger le nouveau module. Fermez complètement Claude Desktop (barre système → Quitter) et rouvrez-le.

Première utilisation

  1. Ouvrir Revit 2026 avec un projetYou should see a HuskyBIM tab in the Revit ribbon. If prompted to load the add-in, choose Always Load.
  2. Interroger Claude sur votre maquetteTry: "What elements are on Level 1?" or "List all walls with a missing fire rating parameter."

Query

  • "List all walls with fire rating A60 on level 2"
  • "Total floor area per room type?"
  • "Find elements missing a mark parameter"

Edit

  • "Set fire rating to REI 60 on element 123456"
  • "Rename room 205 to Meeting Room 2"
  • "Move element 789 three metres north"

  3. Restart ArchiCAD and Claude DesktopThe add-on loads on the next ArchiCAD startup. Fully quit Claude Desktop (system tray → Quit) and reopen it.

  1. Open ArchiCAD 29 with a projectThe HuskyBIM add-on loads automatically. No ribbon tab — it operates through Claude Desktop as an MCP server.
  2. Interroger Claude sur votre maquetteTry: "List all walls on storey 1" or "What element types are in this model?"

Ajouter à Claude Desktop

  1. Ouvrir les paramètres de Claude DesktopClick the Claude menu → Settings → Developer → Edit Config.

Dépannage

Windows SmartScreen bloque l'installateur
Click More info → Run anyway. The installer is safe — code signing is in progress. If your antivirus blocks it, add a temporary exception for the setup .exe.
L'onglet HuskyBIM n'apparaît pas dans Revit
Make sure you fully restarted Revit after installation. If prompted to load the add-in, choose Always Load. Check that the installer completed without errors.
Claude ne voit pas ma maquette
Your BIM application must be open with a project loaded before you ask Claude. Fully restart Claude Desktop (quit from the system tray, reopen). Then try: "What's in my model?"
Fonctionne-t-il hors ligne ?
The Revit and ArchiCAD add-ins work without internet. Claude Desktop requires an internet connection to reach Anthropic's API. License validation is tolerant of network errors — a warning is shown but usage is not blocked.
Comment utiliser HuskyBIM sur un deuxième poste ?
Exécuter l'installateur on the second machine and enter the same subscription email. Up to 2 machines can be active simultaneously. If you need to swap a machine, visit your account page to release one.
